The "Olympics of the Arts!"

The World Championships of Performing Arts will celebrate their 16th anniversary in 2012 in Los Angeles, USA!
To participate at the World Championships is a wonderful and rare privilege as you will be representing your country at the ultimate, conclusive event for aspiring performers and entertainers. Over 100 persons from the entertainment industry are invited to judge, conduct educational seminars and “go-sees” which in itself is invaluable. WCOPA will see the introduction of "Boot Camp" for contestants. Boot camps will be presented by the "movers and shakers" in the industry.
Some will win medals…… and some will win $130.000 in scholarships.. some will advance to the finals. The main objective in attending this event must be the competition, training, experience and opportunity to explore your talent.
Delegations of outstanding competitors from between forty (40) and fifty (50) countries will be invited to perform at both the Junior World Championships and the World Championships in “Hollywood”.
An official contestant must be a citizen and / or resident in good standing of NZ, may be an amateur or professional, must have been qualified and invited, and must comply with the rules and regulations established by the World Championships of Performing Arts. An “Official Contestant’s Handbook” will be handed to each qualifying contestant describing details of and codes for the global competition.
Team New Zealand will be announced at the prize giving ceremony at the Aim to Fame National Championships on 10 March 2012.
