National Aim to Fame Championships

 

Amateur as well as professional performers in Acting, Dancing, Modeling, Singing, Instruments and Variety Acts are eligible for participation. Each category has various styles that you can trial for. 

If you are an artist looking for a platform to launch your career, this is the opportunity you have been waiting for! Reaching the nationals will not only present you the opportunity to go for a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal, but will also make you eligible to be included into the New Zealand National Team. The NZ Team will represent our country for the 6th time at the 16th Annual World Championships of the Performing Arts to be held in LA, USA in July 2012. 

New Zealand Aim to Fame Championships will take place in Auckland 07, 08 & 09 March 2013.  The special awards will be held on Saturday 9th.

2012 Aim to Fame Nationals

The Aim to Fame 2012 Nationals were held in Auckland the weekend of 08 - 10 March 2012. 
After screening more than 150 prospective performers, the final 65 competed for medals and for a spot in the 2012 New Zealand Team to represent our country at the 16th World Championships of the performing arts to be held in Los Angeles.
The team will depart from Auckland on the 30th of June 2012 and return on Tuesday, 17th July 2012.

Aim to Fame 2012

  • Overall category winners: Adam Penklis & Shukura Chapman – Acting; Strickland Young – Dancing; Hope Porter – Modeling; Vion Slinger – Instruments; Andrew Papas – Vocal and overall Aim to Fame National Winner 2012 Category each won a$1000.00 towards their trip to Holllywood for participation at the annual World Championships of Performing Arts 2012.
